The MCCBA is delighted to welcome back Professor Graham Virgo KC after his well-received talk last year. Professor Virgo, Master of Downing College and Director of Cambridge Private Law Centre, will be speaking on ‘Form or Substance? Formalities in Equity and the Law of Trusts’, and will discuss the recent Court of Appeal decision in National Iranian Oil Co v Crescent Gas Corporation Ltd [2025] EWCA Civ 1211 regarding formalities for trusts of land.
